Remote Work From Home Opportunity! Our growing company is searching for professionally experienced copywriters and editors to join us as Marketing Content Creators. This is a remote(work from home) contractor position and you will collaborate with our marketing team virtually. This is a part time role that can lead to full time for the right candidate! We are looking for writers and editors who exhibit the following:
  • Refined writing and editing skills
  • Writing with empathy to touch a reader on an emotional level
  • A sense of curiosity when assigned a new topic
  • Stellar research skills so you can dive into a new subject and find answers
  • Eye-grabbing headline creation
  • Awareness of reader/user experience on mobile devices, within a web page, on social media, etc.
  • Ability to write about complex topics simply
  • Ability to write great transitions
  • Ability to write compelling conclusions
  • Ability to create something new
  • Pristine attention to detail
You’re right for this role if:
  • Your superhero ability is that you excel at expanding upon concepts and content provided to you. You’re a transformer of ideas into reality. You can take a napkin outline and write a provoking think-piece.
  • You don’t need your handheld to write well or on time. You’re self-directing, detail-oriented, and usually beat deadlines.
  • Your past clients would (if asked) say you’re a master copywriter and that hiring you resulted in significant growth in revenue. They’re amazed by what you accomplished for them.
  • You’re not offended by an editor’s red pen or a constructive critique. You believe truly great writing is best developed through thoughtful editing.
  • You don’t hesitate to rewrite when asked to do so. You secretly like rewriting more than first-draft writing.
  • By 9 am on most weekdays, you’re out of bed, you’ve let the dog out, and you're in front of a keyboard. You prefer writing during the day so that your nights and weekends are free.
  • You thrive at working remotely because you’re self-reliant, and you can maintain great working relationships with teammates without needing to work side-by-side in an office environment.
  • You write without needing Netflix/Hulu playing in the background or a hip coffeehouse setting before your muse really gets going.
  • You've written for consulting or coaching companies.
  • You have more than a passing knowledge of sales and marketing software and strategies.
You’d be responsible for:
  • Creating campaign elements including, but not limited to copy for landing pages, emails, social media posts, video presentations, etc.
  • Managing your assignments and communicating with the team through our project management system, Wrike.
  • This list is not all-inclusive, and the position will evolve with the company’s needs.
This is a contract position (starting as project-based and the position can expand if successful). Hourly rate is based on experience. This position does not include benefits Professional references requested and required.
